ATR is a travel-related online store.

- display the correct currency

Personalization and marketing
If you consent to personalization and marketing cookies, we combine information about your activity on the online store with relevant travel information in order to:

- highlight relevant offers
- tailor content to your journey
- improve product recommendations
- measure the impact of personalization and optimize the online store
We use BM as a technology platform for personalization.
BM uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to identify which content and products are most likely to be relevant to each individual customer.
BM processes the data on our behalf as a data processor. ATR deletes personally identifiable information in BM 30 days after your booking has ended.
If you do not consent, the online store will continue to function normally. You will still be shown products relevant to your trip, but without behavior-based personalization.
Use of artificial intelligence (AI)
We and some of our vendors use artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning as part of the services that support ATR.
AI is used to improve the user experience, analyze how the online store is used, personalize content, and protect payments against fraud.
AI is not used to make automated decisions that have legal effects or similarly significant consequences for you.
Bloomreach Marketing (BM) – personalization and product ranking
BM uses artificial intelligence and machine learning as an integral part of the personalization platform.
If you consent to personalization and marketing cookies, BM may process information about your activity on the online store together with relevant travel information to determine which products, offers, and content are most relevant to your trip.
AI is used, among other things, to:
- rank products
- prioritize relevant content
- highlight relevant offers
- improve product recommendations
- optimize the overall shopping experience
As a result, products and content may be displayed in a different order or highlighted based on this assessment.
BM processes the data on our behalf as a data processor in accordance with our data processing agreement and the GDPR.
AI processing is only enabled if you consent to personalization and marketing cookies.
PostHog (PH) – statistical analysis and behavioral insights
PH uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze overall use of the online store.
If you consent to statistical cookies, PH can analyze user interactions and technical events to identify patterns, errors, and opportunities to improve the online store.
AI is used, among other things, to:
- identify errors and inefficient user journeys
- detect changes and trends in user behavior
- analyze the overall use of the webshop
- generate suggestions for improving the user experience
The results are used exclusively for statistical analysis and the development of the webshop, and not for marketing or personal profiling.
PH processes the data on our behalf as a data processor.
AI processing is only enabled if you consent to statistical cookies.
Nets Easy (NE) – fraud detection and payment security
NE uses artificial intelligence and machine learning as an integral part of the payment solution to identify and prevent fraud.
AI analyzes information related to the payment transaction in order to assess risk and protect against unauthorized or suspicious payments.
This processing is an integral part of the payment service and takes place independently of your cookie preferences.
The legal basis is the performance of the agreement (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) as well as NE's legal obligations.
NE is an independent data controller for this processing.

Airshoppen Travel Retail (ATR) – internal use of AI
ATR uses artificial intelligence as an internal tool to support the development, analysis, and improvement of the online store and our digital services.
AI can be used for, among other things:
- analysis of aggregated user data
- identification of opportunities for improvement
- support for the development and optimization of the webshop
- preparation of internal analyses and content
Internally, AI is used on anonymized or aggregated information, unless otherwise stated in this policy.
Microsoft Azure (MA) – security infrastructure
Our hosting provider, MA, uses automated systems, including machine learning, to protect the infrastructure against network threats, DDoS attacks, and other security incidents.
This processing concerns the technical operation of the infrastructure and is not used to profile or analyze your behavior as a customer.
