Aperol has been made from a secret recipe since 1919. However, it is a well-known fact that the rich and distinctive flavour, among other things, comes from sweet and bitter herbs, oranges and rhubarb. Mix it with mieral water and prosecco, and you have one of Italy's most popular drinks, Aperol Spritz, which bubbles over with the southern sun and summery atmsophere.
